I think it is *more* important.  Think about it.  On my fwd coupe, I
could run totally different tires, with different wear, front and rear,
and all it would do is maybe handle slightly different.  I am often lazy
and just keep replacing front tires until the rears are old enough for
that to be an issue, then swap them to the front and finish them off.

on a Q you want four identical tires.  fronts wear faster due to braking
and steering, so you want to rotate often enough to keep all four evenly
worn and replace them together.
