Probably a good chance that the wires or plug going to the pads(sensor) are
bad, as they do in other models. I would check that first.
If  the pads are bad, they are fairly easy to replace, but your average
brake place won't have them in stock.
The pads are also pretty reasonable. It is the rotors that will scare you.
Get them checked REAL fast. Chances are you will be able to just replace the
pads if the rotors are within specs and before you tear them up with bad
pads.
