Warning! Warning!
Don't EVER take your car to Sears (or similar places) for brake pads or for
ANYTHING else - the people who work there are known as "monkey lads" - do
an archive search on that term - and their technical abilities are sorely
taxed by the average wheelbarrow.
They will uttely DESTROY everything they touch on your car, charge you out
the Wazoo (or whatever other bodily orfice you prefer), and claim it was
like that (i.e. "broken") when you drove it in, so they don't owe you any
money to go somewhere else to get it fixed right.
Audis, especially V-8 Audis, are orders of magnitude more complex than
ANYTHING these monkey lads have EVER seen, and unless you have an aversion
to having a running car and money in your bank account, give Sears and
their so-called service centers a WIDE berth - stay WELL AWAY.
You have been warned!
Best Regards,
Mike Arman
