whats Riced and not riced? (was New car on the road)

Oh- I forgot to mention two things about the "rice" stuff on my car-

The window tint I have is IR reflective so it keeps the car significantly
cooler in direct sunlight- a real benefit in terms of preserving the car's
leather and headliner.

The shiftknob fills your hand nicely and has weight to it, giving a more
positive shift feel with less effort. Of course, now I'll probably wear
out the shifter bushings prematurely.

As for true rice- those fully bodykitted, dual exhaust Neons crack me up.

The funniest thing I ever saw was in a parking lot once with my friend
driving his 635CSi- we came across a 2nd gen. RX-7 that had all of its
emblems replaced with BMW emblems- roundels on the hood, trunk lid and all
four wheels! Who was he trying to fool? We drove past him two or three
times,
staring at the car. I wonder if he thought he was busted, seeing us drive
by him in a real BMW several times.

I was going to fully rice-out my old Eagle Talon, just for kicks- partly as
a parody of the whole rice thing and partly just to laugh at it. It was a
POS
car, so I didn't really care. :-)
