what to use to lub sunroof?

I am servicing a sunroof on 200q and I wonder what lubricant I should
use for rails. Dealer said they use some silicone lubricant (which I did
not buy, of course).  Is it ok to use general purpose silicone lub for
that?  I don't have experience to use that stuff but it is scary when
you don't see it on the friction surface.  Any recommendations whould be
appreciated.
