driving fast (what's the fastest you've gone in a car)

Well, I've hit 147mph in my four cylinder Corrado, trying to impress my
future wife.

But I think it is a lot more interesting, driving from Colorado springs to
Boulder one night, with a sustained 125 mph for maybe 20 minutes.  I think
my computer said my average was 90 something MPH. I did a few bursts to
135MPH that night when I had room.I did the trip in 45 minutes.  Literally.
anyone know that run up I-25? that was the north side of the springs to the
parkway exit in Boulder.  I usually give myself 3 hours for that drive.

I've had my 90Q up around 90, just to see how it was, and the new A4 to
about 80. Wife had it over 100mph, but she still hasn't told me how much
over! ;-)
