I'd already tried this, and other methods mentioned in the archives. Engine died, for example,
when ISV disconnected, further confusing the issue. Parts were 30ukp and job took half a
day to do (worst bit was dreaded allen bolt removal on plenum). Small price to pay for being
in control, IMO.

I don't have a cat! Early type 89 coupe did not get one until late 1989 (mine's January) so
it seems a bit pointless (and annoying).
