The thought of rear-ending someone doing 150 definitely took most of the fun
out of it. The gentleman who was driving (owner) seemed rather calm doing
it. When we got back to his office, he whipped out a manila folder about 3
inches thick of speeding tickets. I asked him how that affected his
insurance and he said it didn't because he is self-insured. Apparently he
has put up a portion of his stock portfolio as some kind of collateral. My
thought was man if this guy gets in an accident and kills someone, they
could take him for all he is worth (not sure how that works really).

I would enjoy the chance to drive that car on a closed-circuit where it is
"safe" to explore it's limits.

That to me is more insane and scary than even debris
in the roadway. Last Feb. I ran a Merc. C200 mit
Kompressor right at 155, banging the rev limiter the
whole time. All I could think of was what if someone
going like 60 or 70 pulled into the left lane. Very
strange. BTW, this car was scary quiet and stable, as
long as you kept the windows closed. Also, NO
American car I've ever driven or ridden in was even
close to this car at speed.
