I thought the same on both counts. The rating as you
stated is for full load for a continuous period.
Discounting any defects or UNDERINFLATION, a very
SERIOUS problem in the US. Every day I see idiots
driving 80 or 90 mph with about 2-3 psi of air in one
of their tires. BRILLIANT!!! Let's sue a tire
company!
