As for the acceleration thrill, the cheap ticket is
some rice rocket.  I've owned 4 Suzuki GSX-R 750's and
the pull from 8 grand on is unbelievable.  Especially
on a modded one.  Hang on tight or fly off the back!

I did on week in the El Paso County Jail in the summer
on '86 while stationed at Ft. Carson.  Man was my
sergeant pissed.  I was racing some guy on a 1300 and
passed a radar trap.  They chased me almost to Denver,
70 something miles.  My top speed was over 170, and
some cowboy from the Highway Patrol pretty much
followed me the whole way in a hopped up Mustang GT.
Of course everyone was getting out of his way, while I
had to ride the left edge of the roadway.  And YES,
jail sucks.
