driving fast

The fastest I've ever driven was in my nearly stock 4kq, probably about
123 mph. The speedo goes to 120 and the needle was only barely past that.
The car wont go any faster on those gears. The car felt stable and fairly
easy to control at that speed (even on the 17 year old suspension) not as
scary as I thought it would be. The scary part was when a S4 (maybe a
modded A4) passed me going at least 20 faster than me, with 4 passengers,
all of whom didn't seem to notice how fast they were going. I'm pretty sure
that one of them was reading a book.
Going fast is fun, but to me its not nearly as fun as accelerating fast.
I don't need a car that can go over 120, but I'd love one that could get
there fast. The fastest I've ever accelerated was while borrowing a
riced-out prelude. It wasn't super quick, but it was quick to me (I've only
driven slow cars). However, the extra quickness wasn't worth the
embarrassment of driving a ricer, so I promptly returned it and climbed back
in my trusty 4kq.

I'm sure many of you own cars that can do 0-60 in 6 seconds or less, but to
me a car like that is only a dream. Maybe someday I'll make my 4kq that
quick. hehe
