I suppose it could be the air temp thingie, but your ecu works when
warm.

Quite possible - or perhaps justa  cleaning of the little screens under
the fuel connections on it.

probably not.

replace those seals anyway, but probably not this.

What about the temp sender for the ECU?  I think its a multi function
unit on that car, four pin thing under the upper radiator hose flange?
