cutting metal fuel lines - How?

You'll need to pop the line out from the little rubber blocks. Use a
screwdriver to pry open the metal clips. Then you can use either a small
plumbing-type pipe cutter or a hacksaw. Be prepared to get wet with gas if
the lines are pressurized. You will need to debur the ends also. Check
the archives for my post about doing fuel lines....
