Did your compressor come apart or was it just the clutch?
You can replace the clutch without replacing the entire compressor.
You might be able to get a clutch from someplace like www.carparts.com

Hey Listers,
I just lost my Compressor this past weekend.It slowly came apart while I was
driving.I was curious as to where I would look to find a replacement,either
new or is there a rebuilt one to be had?And whatever else you can
recommend.I heading back to Portland ,OR this week and I have a great Audi
mechanic there,But I still need to get that part replaced.
