CGTs have quite tall gearing IIRC, and aerodynamics become a consideration
at higher speeds...
my stock CGT had no power at all in 5th, but would slowly pull to redline
in 4th...
the drag will drain a LOT of power as the speeds get substantial...
just my thoughts, no turbo experience here... >>
Common, though, guys - 4000RPMS in 5th? I do that regularly in both cars.
Redline in 4th is around 100 - shift into 5th and you should be right at
4000rpms. If you can't go over that with a turbo or without one, something
is wrong with the car.
