Hi Guys:
Actually weight has very little to do with top speed.  It does effect
how long it takes you to get there though.
I believe the drag coefficient of a Coupe is 0.37  while the drag of a
type 44 is 0.30, I guess the Coupe is a bit of a brick.  Despite this
I would still think it should still be a bit faster than it is.
Perhaps your timing is out?  Mixture?  Just guessing.
