86 5ktqcs: Click, clank and other funny sounds

I drove my car to work this morning and remembered why I stopped driving it.
My problem is different than the one mentioned in the email "Clunk from
front suspension".  As I drive my car I can feel a "clank" coming from under
the foot well area.  It is louder when I am accelerating moderately and
rde-accelerating hard.  I noticed that there is some play (pieces possibly
missing from the bushings) in the front lower control arms (fore and aft).
The drivers side outer cv boot is torn wide open, however it does not click
when I turn.  I know these are problems that need attention before I start
driving it regularly -again.  I just want to know if these problems could be
causing the noises.
