Clunk from front suspension

Eyvind - Did you check to see if a brake caliper is loose? If so, then it
would move within the range of the loose fit when the brakes are applied,
but once you move the car and rotate the wheel, the caliper would rock back
to it's normal position. Try driving in reverse, apply the brakes to come
to a full non-rolling stop, then continue in reverse. Listen to see if the
clunk is still there. Since you already said it happens in forward motion
stopping and continuing, this would help pinpoint it.
