Urq airducts

Even with A/C delete, the k24 turbo on my urq gets the temps up quickly
(could it be the 20psi/:), especially at track/autox events. I removed both
inner headlights on my urq (and put 55/100 H4 in the outer euros), the
difference in temps was dramatic (like 20C drop and much steadier operating
temp). For pix see:

Those of you tracking your urq's should consider this mod, even if "just"
for the event. You do need to move the DS air shroud over a bit, I just
drilled 2 holes in the LS headlight bezel, heated up the "replacement"
plastic duct and zip tied it. Airflow is a straight shot at the radiator.
Bob Bupree boxed both his radiators in the LT1Q with just this headlight
sized inlet, I figured if it's good enough for a vette motor....

I'm working on a copy of Dean Treadway's sport q lookalike with 200mm
squares, but this mod certainly is a LOT quicker, and achieves the same
results. IF you really want to get it even better, Keith Anderson did the
same mod, but moved the right side H4 headlight inboard, which gave better
airflow to the airbox. A much better mod, but it looks a bit lopsided IMO.
