This is funny - cost of owning a beast

So, it's been a touch over three years, and I added up the bills which I've
recording over the life (of my ownership) of the Beast, and it goes a little
something like this:

Three years of ownership as of 3/1/02
27,000 miles
14 track days
6 sets of wheels
1 body kit (still not in the US)
2 heads
4 different suspensions
3 exhausts
2 interiors
14,087$, not including purchace price ($1,100) or cost of track days (on the
order of $3,000).

:-)

Some things are better off not looked at. If I had it to do all over again,
the only things that I would change are not redoing the motor (it has put off
an all out motor swap) and I would have gone straight to coilovers instead of
screwing around trying to find the right setup. Otherwise, it's been well
worth the trip...what a wonderful car. Picks of the most recent additions
(new race seat/harness setup, paint, etc.) will be available soon. Thanks to
the group for support, advice, and occasional (but I'm sure unintentional)
laughter over the past 6 years...

Later!
