Removing bushing at back of crank...

Hi!
Another question about removing press fit items...
I need to remove the "pilot" bushing that is on the back of the crank of
my MC engine. It's the bushing on the automatic transmissioned MC that
is used in place of the pilot needle bearing on manual transmissioned
MCs. I looked in my Bentley, but ofcourse there won't be details for
removing it as there is no need to replace it anyway. I need to remove
it in order to fit a pilot needle bearing (which I still need to find)
as I'm also doing a automatic to manual conversion on this engine/car.
Bentley indicates the use of tool 10-202 for removing of the pilot
bearing and tool 2026 for fitting of the pilot bearing.
How do I remove the bushing without damaging anything?
What's the spec for the needle bearing as I'll need to source this from
a generic bearing shop over here? I suppose this info is in ETKA. I'll
take a look.
What do I use for fitting the pilot needle bearing in place of tool
2026?
Another odd thing about the Bentley is that they say to install the
bearing to a depth of "a=5.5mm", but they don't indicate what "a" is?
Thanks.
G.
