noisy fuel pump

Relax Peter...

    A new Bosch pump is only hundreds of dollars and we all know any Audi
owner is made of money and can easily afford it.  But seriously, with this
heat some listers as well as a local friend of mine have been hearing some
pretty loud noise levels out of their old gas pushers.  Seems that the high
temps we have had lately are putting the hoodoo on the Bosch units.  Would
have been nice if Audi had included a twenty dollar in tank pump to help the
$200 dollar unit last longer (ala VW Jetta ect.).  I plan to wait this out as
I did last year.  Once the heat lessens I think you will find that the pump
will quite down.  Anyone who thinks my logic is flawed I am taking up a
collection to replace my pump.  Please send your donations as soon as
