It's April, Hank, and here in the northern hemisphere I think we can
count on more warm days in the next few months.

If the heat is the culprit, your pumps are going down hard soon enough.

I think these were all the winter's bad pumps, getting loud for two
reasons... one, the *sudden* heat (they would have spread over more time
normally) and two, everyone is opening their windows and can *hear* the
pump that was getting louder all winter.

I doubt this, but maybe the return to summer (non-oxygenated) gasoline
is doing it?  nah...
