3 w/pumps in one year!

It becomes ridiculous:  3rd w/pump in a raw whines!  Patient is 200tq
'89.  2 w/pumps could be from the same batch because I got replacement
within a month from the same source (all three Geba). But I got third
one in a year. All three whined immidiately after installation.
Installed new pump  last weekend and... it whines!  As usually, the
first pump was most quiet.  I loosen the belt to the minimum. It quiet 2
previous pump but did not affect the 3rd one.
There is a slim chance that I misdiagnosed the noise. But the pump I
removed on last weekend cogged and made whining noise when I rotate it
by hand. In a rush I forgot to test the new one.  Using stethoscope also
lead me to w/pump.  Any other place, including tensioner, gave as much
as twice quieter noise compare to the noise when I touch w/pump case..
But... I can't believe... 3rd pump defective?  Any comments, suggestion
will be appreciated.
My another 200tqa had no problem with w/pump which was bought from the
same
place, same time, but this one is for "super torque" belt (Geba also).
