torsen in Coupe GT?

What I haven't been clear on, but what seems to be true, is
that the rear and center diffs on a V8 (and hence a Type 44?),
are interchangeable.  Is that correct?

Are there any gear ratio considerations to worry about, before
I order a V8 torsen rear diff and try to put in a Coupe GT
tranny (in the future)?
