you have two choices:

1. try to do it with it all assembled, with a scraper and some
dexterity, or

2. remove the whole white box (about four screws I think), then you can
sort of fiddle it out by removing a jam nut thing from the bits attached
to its shaft, and pulling out the shaft.  Then it will be free in your
hands.  But I bet it takes longer this way.
