You might want to check out Mobil's Delvac 1,  5W 40 synthetic oil for
diesel engines. It has an API rating of SJ for gasoline engines.

I can get it for $20 a gallon at the local Farm & Fleet store in Wisconsin,
but I believe it's available at a lot of truck stops too.
