Jet fuel is actually closer to diesel fuel than Gasoline. What you might be thinking of is aviation fuel which is high octane gasoline used for piston engine airplanes. But I doubt a tank of 100LL will improve performance much. I would get rid of as much weight as possbile pass seat rear seat spare tire etc..
