With the car up on four of the larger common size jackstands, you should
have plenty of room.

You can work the tranny off the engine using a floor jack (again,
"large" size), keeping it balanced wiht your hand, and still have enough
clearance to roll it out from under the car.

Some of the removal and especially reinstallation can get a bit hairy,
juggling a 150 pound, irregularly shaped hunk of metal on a jack and
your elbows and knees while lying on your back... but it can be done.
