My coupe's engine is a tad bit hot

Audifans,
My 87 Coupe (2.2 KV engine) is running a bit hot. The temp needle will
settle at about 95^(o) C when driving, and when idleing the temps will
climb to almost 110^(o) before the fan kicks in. The timing belt,
tensioning pulley, water pump, thermostat and belts for alternator and
powersteering are all replaced 2 weeks ago. The radiator have a slight
leak, but not much; it only gets moist on top when the engine is hot.
I'm guessing that both the sender for the cooling fan and radiator may
be shot. My thoughts were that if the temp sender is replaced, the fan
will run much more frequently than today, and not necessarily fix the
problem. Should I worry, and does anyone have any experience here?
