108mm to 100mm conversion....

I corresponded by e-mail with a rep from Ronal wheels who advised me
that the 4 X 108 bolt pattern is the same as 4 x 4.25" (which fits,
among other applications, the Ford Probe) - he was encouraging me to
look toward Ford Probe applications among their products for fitting on
my '89 80Q. I am unsure how the offset compares, but doing the math on
the bolt spread results in 108 mm = 4.251956". Perhaps Audi was looking
at 4 1/4" compatibility when the 108 mm decision was made.
