200Q 20V wheels, 15 x 7.5 J 35mm offset
stock A4 wheels, 15 or 16 x 7 J, 45 mm offset (don't know about factory
17's)
Yes, the offsets are different. However, a minimal (though not
non-existant)
change will occur if you run the lower offset wheels. Generally, the
lower offset
wheels will tramoline (follow grooves) more easily than the stock ones,
HOWEVER,
since they'll be running higher profile snows, it may not matter.
Also of POTENTIAL interest. The lesser offset means the wheels sit
further out, which could
be a prblem with outer fender clearance (not likely with an A4 unless the
tires are VERY wide)
and there could be a SLIGHT chance that the outer race of the front wheel
bearings will wear
slightly quicker due to the increase of track.
