There's a reason it fired right up - all the electrical connections were
clean and "sealed" with silicone dielectric.  Try this on a typical
dirty old engine with nasty wiring "issues" and you will have a lot of
cleaning to do before it runs right again.

That said, it's nice to be able to see what is going on in an engine
bay!
