This is a bit crude, but you could try sealing the sunroof with some clear
packaging tape.  Just get it clean and dry and apply a strip of tape to seal
the opening.  This will rule in/out the sunroof and the drains completely.
Just don't leave the tape on for more than a few days because it would be
hard to get off w/o damaging the paint.  If you have really nice paint, use
this method at your own risk.  When removing the tape, you'll need some bug
and tar remover and then a rewax.
