In fact, lots of antivirus companies have come under a bit of criticism
for hyping up the reports of viruses "in the wild" to boost sales.
Personally, I don't run virus software anywhere except for on machines
that have to share files with lots of people, like my wife's computer.
But then again, I am well aware of the risks of viruses, and simply
am making this personal decision.
