Listers,
I posted a few days ago about my car getting the
Hall Sender code on my 90 200tqa but got NO responses,
maybe no lister's understood my post so I'll try
again.
A few day's ago I went to the store and was going to
leave the car running with the E-brake on cause it was
cold out but I forgot that the car was still in 1st
and let the clutch go and the car lurched forward but
I was able to get my foot back on the clutch in time
to keep the car running,
so after leaving the store I noticed my check engine
ligt coming on, so after getting to where I was going
I pulled the codes and got 2113 Hall Sender.
After staying at my friends house for a few hours I
went to leave and the car started hard cranked for a
while and then cought it sputtered around the low end
of the tach, took like 10 min to warm up and then it
idled where it's supposed to 800- and I got NO codes
after returning home.
So my question is could I have damaged the pin for
the ignition timing (the sender on the tranny bell
housing?),
or is it just the cold start valve needs cleaning? I
do need injectors but the car was running fine till I
did that E-brake thing at the store.
And everything in the engine bay is currant from
total tune up with all Bosch and Mann to all hoses
vacume, turbo, WOT switch, all coolant sensors, 02
sensor, ect.
Any help out there please.
Thanks
Ron
