If I remember correcly, from inside, you need to disconnect vacume connector (right
side of the center console, passanger footwell) and remove ONE ONLY screw on center
vent of air box. You can get access to both connector and screw if you remove center
console carpeted side panels. I don't remember about under dash panel and glove box.
It seems to me it can stay on. All the rest of this PITA is done from under hood. Some
people remove hood for this job and I I have garage I would do the same. It makes it
easier. Most diffucalt part is to break the sticky gasket. It is strong.
I should be very careful whil disassembling the box to remember the position of all
washers/spacers. I found that it is hard to assemble the flaps in wrong position but,
try to remember it also. Oh.. I remembered that Bentley helped me to verify flaps'
position which I did not remember.
Call Chris Semple, he sells used Bentleys (I saw it on his web site). But besides
the picture which shows flaps position I don't remember it was helpful.
I think when I did this job a year ago I found some useful posts in archives.
Good luck.
