Key Won't Work

I assume you have an automatic transmission. Is it in park? There may be an
interlock that keeps you from turning the key if the tranny isn't in park -
I don't know for sure, I drive a stick.
Also, try turning the steering wheel side to side while you try to turn the
key. The steering wheel lock can keep the ignition key from turning if there
is a load on the steering lock mechanism.
