Aargh - rad fan meltdown

AFAIK, all 5ktq's have unfused rad fans. Somewhere in the 200 model years
Audi put an 80 amp fuse in the rad fan ground circuit - my '91 200q was
fused. Don't know about the CGT. Your '88 probably won't be fused. If it is,
the fuse is in a small black plastic block mounted on the left side of the
engine bay - follow the ground wire back from the rad fan and you'll find
it. A seized unfused rad fan can destroy the entire left side wiring
harness, a rather large replacement job.
