Hi!
The intermittent light might be a low coolant level BTW, but

Did you ever see this light illuminated? On older 4ks that light
meant "coolant too cold" resp. "engine not yet to operating temp".
Normally they didn't mount the light when the car was equipped
with a temp gauge. The instrument cluster symbol foil still has
the icon (and other unused ones) though. But no bulb behind, most
likely.
