anyone ever seen them?  the vw vanagon (caravelle) has the same headrest hole
as the audi's of that era..  and there was a headrest insert offered for the
european vanagons (caravelles) that was a 2 piece deal, you snapped the front
half into the back half and it "sandwiched" the headrest, making a padded
area where the hole formerly was.   they were velour covered, with padded
foam underneath.    far more comfortable than the "hole" in the headrest.
