Britt for Fort Collins came down with his G-tech one
day, I posted a 6.1 sec 0-60 with a full tank of gas
two big guys in the car, at 15 psi of boost. This was
also on my dying engine with 75 psi compression in
three of the cylinders that used a quart of oil every
60 miles.
I believe Mike Gough just posted a 16.0 sec quarter
mile with his converted Quantum wagon.

It all depends on how far you want to go. That's the
beauty of the turbo transplant, you can go as far as
you want with it. With N/A cars you run out of
options real quick. I just fired up my new MC-2
(turbo engine #2 for me in case you haven't heard)
with a K26/T04E turbo last night, and oh my god I
can't wait until I get it broken in. It's fast, even
with less than 10 psi boost, and I didn't even let it
rev. If you're going to do it, don't waist your time
with the fuel system, go with EFI from the start, get
a free-flowing exhaust, and you will be happy. 14 sec
and lower quarter miles are not out of the question.
With the right setup, I don't think you will find lag
to be a problem. I fact, you will probably grow to
like the rush you get at 3k rpm.
