My guess is that they are no longer in business. I tried calling them every day for about 2 weeks, and got the same thing. Toll free was disconnected, other number had a recording. I left messages, and never got a call back. I sent e-mails, never got any return receipts or replies. I really wanted to get their rebuilt window regulators for my CGT...but alas had to get a used one from Force5. I hope it holds up. Anyway, if anyone knows what happened to Mountain...pass along the info...

Subject: Mountain Automotive: what's up?
As I posted a few weeks ago, the door handle gods have been getting testy, so I
tried to make contact with Mountain Automotive in Colorado, which the parts
vendor listing mentions as a source of door handles, w/the following results:
The non-WATS number is disconnected. I was able to leave a message on the WATS
number, but no one called back. When I tried to access their website, I was
prompted for a network login name and password, which of course I didn't have. I
think I tried emailing them w/o response--memory is a bit fuzzy here, it's been
a few weeks. Does anyone know what the story is here? I had the impression their
door handles were somehow upgraded from the stock ones--is this true? If not,
that's less reason to keep trying to get hold of them. Thank you.
