Strut mounts on 4kq (summary)

What I don't know: I don't know what the 'upgrade' mounts are Blau is
selling. I was involved in developing and selling some upgraded suspension
bushing for Porsche 911's and they looked like stock bushings but they were
not just repackaged bushings bought from someone else. We did the whole
thing with prototypes and pre-production bushings and then a production run.
If we could do it Blau could do it. Whether they did or not, I don't know,
have no facts.

What I know:
I misread the application guide and they do list the urq. They list Coupe QT
which I read as Coupe GT.
They list the 857 412 323B for frt.& rear of the Coupe QT and list it also
as rear for 4Kq, 80/90q and 90q 20V.
They list 8A0 412 323D as frt. mount for all 4k's, all 80/90's from 1988 to
1994 (incl V6), Cabriolet 94-98, 2wd coupe 81-87, coupe q 20v 90-91 and VW
Quantum's.

OK, so what we all think we want is the 857 412 323B. Now they list 2 of
these. One is listed with a note of German and the other is listed with BOGE
after the part number. My interpretation is that the first is from an
unspecified German manufacture and the other is manufactured or supplied by
BOGE. Anyone want to guess which is the better purchase? They are listed by
the same part number and have the same list price ($114 ouch). The BOGE part
cost more than the German part.
I have ordered a pair of each of them so I can compare the parts. I will
post the results of my comparison of them.

Group Purchase prices: (includes CA tax)
857 412 323B (German) $12.90 each (list at $114 each)
857 412 323B (Boge)	$34.40 each (list at $114 each)
8A0 412 323D $21.50 each (list at $47 each)

These prices are based on the wholesaler having the quantity we need
currently in stock (they list the stock quantity as OK), if they have to
ship from another warehouse or get in new stock the price may change. These
prices do not include shipping costs but that should be pretty low. I'm
located in Sacramento California.
Let me know directly (off the list) if you are interested. Let me know how
many and which ones. Also let me know your location. I don't think it is
feasible to ship outside the US but I'll consider any requests. There is no
minimum number for this but I think if we got enough interest in the German
ones I might be able to get the price down under $10 each.

Thanks
Jim

Javad is correct.

The rear retainer for the 4kq/80q/90q and the front UR-q has the same part
number(857412323B).

The CGT part # for the front is 8A0412323D.

Unless they only stock the B part, this cross-reference is is weird.

Carlos.
