89 100q sedan alarm/doorlock issues

I just installed the door lock repair kit from Blau'
on my drivers door. The locks work OK now. While
installing it I broke one of the tabs holding the
electric sensor? on the lock mechanism. I reglued it,
carefully, and everything seemed fine. The alarm
function is wierd now.
I can lock the door with the key and will get the beep
acknoledgement. Then when I unlock the door everthing
is fine.  BUT, intermittently, I can lock the door
WITHOUT the beep recognition and unlock the door and
get the alarm. ALSO, I have to go to the passenger
door to turn the key to disable the alarm. Keep in
mind that neither function worked before I could
operate the locks. The passenger door lock is still
inop.
Better yet can I DISABLE the whole system without
disecting the car? I don't have much use for the
bloody things anyway.
