not usually.  If yours are like the earlier ones, just pry off the
rubber boot - a single screw will be exposed.  undo it, remove the
switch (you may have to angle it funny to pull it out), pull off the
wire or wires and install new switch.

By the way, on my 90Q at least, there is a second wire on the RF (pass)
door switch that disables the power windows when the passenger opens
their door (after the engine is off).  tiresome feature. disabled by
checking which wire it was and then unplugging it (and taping to the
other one to make it easy to find in the future).
