Doesn't sound like it; among other things, the relay should auto-time
out after a few minutes, even if a sensor is open.  Closing the door
will cause the lights to pop back on, but again, there will be a
timeout.

I'd suggest focusing on the interior light relay if all four switches
check out OK(check them with a multimeter.)  Maybe one can be
inexpensively sourced from a junk yard or borrowed from a friend's
car.
