The real problem begins when you stop hearing it. I carry a new (spare)FP
in the trunk of my 87 5ktq. At 221k miles, the old one could last for
years or die tomorrow. After all these stories, I think I'll swap in the
new one when the weather breaks and I can work in my driveway again. About
May? Then I can carry the snarling one as a spare.....
