caliper return spring cam cleaning

Hi Megan;

It doesn't come right out, it just pops up about 1/2" and stops. If it comes
right out, you've got other problems - and need a caliper rebuild :o).
I pop up the cam, use a thin strip of fine emery cloth to clean the rust off
the shaft, lube it well with FluidFilm, and pop it up and down a few times
to distribute the lube.
If you turn it side to side, you will clamp the pads so hard against the
rotor you'll have to beat the caliper off with a dead blow hammer to crank
the pistons back it. BTDT during the "learning process".
