possible lister sighting in Mesa, AZ

Hello List,

The other day I saw a guy driving a very clean gray Coupe GT,
about an '84.  It had some silver aftermarket 15" wheels.  It was
very clean.  This was on University in Mesa, AZ, at about Country
Club.

I drove up next to the driver in my Saturn, and tried to yell, "Nice
car!", but the driver seemed reluctant to roll the window down or
pull over or anything.

I didn't think to give him a thumbs up until afterwards, but next time
I'll do that.  People don't know what you want when you just drive
up to them.

He was friendly enough, giving me a bit of a smile and a wave.  I'm
sure he wondered what the heck I was bothering him about.  He
was dressed how I would call "office casual".

I don't know if he was a lister, but if I see the car again, I'll try the
thumbs up method instead of the car-jacker style greeting.  That's
what I get for not driving a Audi.  I'm sure he would have gotten the
clue if I had pulled up in one of my other cars.
